We are going back to an In-Person Spelling Bee this year!  

• December 20, 2025 : Practice words distributed to all students and brought home in Friday Folders.   

• January 13 - 17, 2025 : Teachers will conduct "Classroom Bees" at their convenience.  Top 3 spellers in each classroom to advance to "Final Bee".  

• January 21, 2025 : Families of finalists will be notified with more details of the Final Bee 

• January 28, 2025 : Final Bee from 5:30-7:30pm at Hillside Elementary - More details to follow

• March 1, 2025 : Oakland Schools Scripps Regional Spelling Bee at Oakland University.  

--This Spelling Bee is only for grades 5-8, so our 5th Grade winner will advance.
