Step right up, Huskies—the Carnival Dash is coming!

After weeks of fundraising, it will finally be time to celebrate! Hillside students are invited to come join the carnival for a school day filled with movement, music, games, laughter, and plenty of carnival-style fun.

From the starting line to the midway, our Huskies will run, move, cheer one another on, and enjoy a day designed simply to celebrate our students and our Hillside community.

Come ready to move. Come ready to play. And most importantly, come ready for some Husky fun! 🎪🐾

Friday, October 23rd, 2026 : 5:30 - 8:00pm

Get ready for a fall evening made for Husky families! On Friday, October 23 from 5:30–8:00 PM, the Hillside field will be transformed into our very own HuskyChella Activities Village—filled with fall fun, games, activities, and a few surprises we’re keeping under wraps for now. 👀🐾

Bring your picnic blankets and baskets, pack your family’s favorite dinner, or grab something delicious from one of our food trucks, then settle in for a cozy family dinner on the field while you enjoy everything the Village has to offer.

Open to all Hillside Families! Costumes encouraged, but not required. Celebrate autumn with an evening full of music, crafts, games, and seasonal treats—right here at Hillside Elementary!

Cookies and Canvas 🍪🎨

Hillside families, grab a paintbrush and bring your creativity! Join us for our first Cookies & Canvas, a cozy evening filled with art, sweet treats, and family fun.

Families will create their own winter-inspired canvas masterpiece while enjoying cookies, refreshments, music, and time together. No artistic experience required—just come ready to paint, laugh, snack, and make some memories!

🎨 Fee-based event • Advance registration required

🐾 Open to Hillside students and their families

❤️ Hillside Has Heart: Family Engagement Night

There’s a whole lot of heart at Hillside—and this February, we’re bringing our families together to celebrate it!

Join us for Hillside Has Heart, an evening dedicated to healthy families, strong minds, kind hearts, community connections, and learning together. Families can look forward to interactive activities, special guests, hands-on experiences, and opportunities to connect with resources that help our Huskies and their families thrive.

But first—we need YOU! 🐾

We’re assembling a Family Engagement Night Planning Committee and would love parents, caregivers, staff, and community members to help us bring the evening to life. Have an idea? A community connection? A skill or area of expertise you’d love to share? Or simply want to lend a hand with planning? There’s a place for you on the team.

Game on, Huskies! Gather the family for an evening of games, laughter, friendly competition, and a little taste of the world around us!

Explore a variety of games—including favorites inspired by cultures and traditions from around the world—and make your way through our Snacks Around the World stations for a taste of something new along the way.

Whether your family loves strategy, cards, classic games, or discovering something completely new, there will be plenty of opportunities to play together, connect, and make some memories.

Hillside students will have an opportunity to step into the spotlight and share the talents that make them shine. Whether it’s singing, dancing, playing an instrument, performing a comedy routine, demonstrating a special skill—or something completely unexpected—we can’t wait to see what our Huskies bring to the stage!

Families are invited to come cheer on our talented students and enjoy an evening celebrating creativity, confidence, courage, and Husky pride.
